Does the app correct the Windows clock?
No. Correction applies to the time displayed by the app. Windows clock and synchronization settings stay unchanged.
Why can I not set a target time before an NTP response arrives?
With NTP correction selected, target-time timers wait for the first valid response. A demo clock is shown before that response. To count down for a duration, use the timer-duration option in Settings → Timer.
What happens if I enter a time that has already passed?
A time without a date means the next occurrence of that time. If it has passed today, the target is tomorrow. Explicit date-and-time targets are available through external controls.
Does the timer play a finish sound?
The development version described here has no finish sound. Colors, emphasized digits, flashing, and overtime after zero provide visual cues.
Does a timer keep running after I close the app?
Closing the app ends measurement. On the next launch, saved duration or time inputs, names, and layouts are restored with the timers stopped. Remaining time, elapsed time, and scheduled starts do not carry over. Simply hiding a timer does not stop it while the app remains open.
Are transparency and position lock the same setting?
Transparency removes the background and window frame. Position lock prevents moving and resizing and passes clicks and scrolling through to the app behind it. You can choose them independently.
The clock has moved off screen. How do I get it back?
Right-click the clock icon in the Windows system tray and choose the option to bring it back on screen. Check the hidden tray icons too. Clock settings and running timers are preserved.
Does millisecond display guarantee millisecond accuracy?
No. Display resolution and time accuracy are different. Network delay and server responses affect accuracy, so the app does not guarantee millisecond accuracy.
